SPECIALIST ACADEMIC EXTENSION PROGRAM LINK TO REGISTER

The Specialist Academic Extension Program challenges students academically, builds self-esteem and leadership skills whilst preparing students for further education. This program aims to foster the academic and personal development of students within a caring environment, assisting them to explore their potential and achieve outcomes at the highest possible level.

Students will be engaged in a variety of learning experiences including:
- High-level curriculum plus extension beyond year level when relevant ​
- Academic competitions, camps, excursions and leadership activities ​
- Annual showcase events to share learning ​

Specialist Academic Extension Program aims:
- To foster academic excellence and intellectual curiosity through challenging, high-quality learning experiences beyond the standard curriculum.
- To develop critical and creative thinking skills that empower students to become independent, reflective, and innovative learners.
- To provide opportunities for inquiry, personal interest, and real-world application, encouraging autonomy and deep engagement.
- To nurture leadership, collaboration, and civic responsibility, preparing students to make meaningful contributions within and beyond the school community.
- To promote equity and inclusivity in extension opportunities, ensuring diverse forms of talent are recognised and supported.


*Please note that acceptance into this program will attract an additional cost, of which will be identified in your child's 'Fees and Charges' sheet, provided by the college, once your enrolment is complete.

**Students outside of the local intake area will only be considered if space is available as per the Department of Education Enrolment Policy.
